Journals of Discovery #1

The Relacion was about of a man called Cabeza de Vaca and his men who travelled and ended up being stranded on an Island. At first the Native Americans surrounded them not knowing what they would do. The Spaniards gave them gifts and such. And the natives gave the Spaniards food and furs in return.  The natives took care of the foreigners . And the Spaniards kept their respect for them, but they still called them savages. When the men were starving and all wet, the Natives Americans carried out a system to bring the men to their village. Their were fires set every now and then to wear the natives would carry the Spaniards to the fire, let them warm up and then travel further to the next stations until they reached their village. In this journal it showed that Native Americans on this island wanted to have a good relationship with the Spaniards.
